Better Times Will Come (Aus Wird Guet)
With her Better Times Will Come project, Janis Ian invited artists from around the world to create their own versions of her sublimely hopeful song. On our album, we covered the song with Janis’s English lyrics but we have also recorded it in Swiss German and are pleased to share that version here. We hope you’ll enjoy this video made up of images from Carmarthenshire in Wales, where we recorded the song, and from the Swiss canton of Bern, where we live.
We spent an afternoon at a great little venue in Bern, Switzerland’s capital city, and, with the help of our friend Werner Hoffmann, made some videos of some of our favourite songs from our repertoire. We’ll be posting others soon. Thanks for taking a look/listen!
